HOW IT WORKS
The MT100 Outdoor Mosquito Trap is an affordable electric trap that is environmentally and user-friendly. The trap is cleverly designed for optimum mosquito control efficiency through its rapid action scent lure which contains a mixture of lactic acid and octanol, proven to be attractive for mosquitoes, midges, and gnats. Simple steps include plugging in the plug, replacing octanol every after 30 days, and emptying the container of trapped insects as necessary.
THE MT100 mosquito trap imitates human breath and attracts mosquitoes and midges with scents, heat, UV light, and carbon dioxide. When these insects get too close to the trap, a powerful fan then creates a vacuum to suck them into the extra-large catchment area where they dehydrate and die.
THE MOSQUITO ATTRACTANT LURE The original active ingredient is Octenol. It gives off a mushroom smell and emulates human body odors. It increases the catch rate up to 4 times. The attractant will last about 30 days.
