HOW TO USE
ECOTHOR No More Mosquito Larvae is for use in urban and rural areas in standing and stagnant waters including lakes, reservoirs, rice paddies, sewers, water traps, manholes, runoffs, drinking water tanks, flowerpot saucers, buckets, septic tanks, tires, gutters, etc. For large water bodies: Apply at a rate of 1 L per 1,000 square meters/ 10 L per hectare. Pour ECOTHOR No More Mosquito Larvae onto the water surface. It will quickly spread around vegetation to cover the entire surface. Repeat application every 4 weeks. For small water bodies: Apply at a rate of 1 mL per square meter. Repeat application every 4 weeks. Discontinuous water bodies: Apply a fine mist of the product using a back-pack spray unit. When sprayed over the whole area, it will form a film over the pockets of water. This includes areas such as rubbish dumps and other situations where water collects, but where the water surface is not continuous and it is too difficult to apply ECOTHOR No More Mosquito Larvae from a bottle. Polluted waters: E.g. manholes, gutters where there is high organic loading use 2 mL per square meter.
Ecothor No More Larvae
Active Ingredient: Polydimethylsiloxane 890 G/L
ECOTHOR No More Mosquito Larvae is a unique liquid for mosquito control. It works by forming a very fine silicone film on the water surface, suffocating mosquito larvae and disrupting the mosquito life-cycle. Occasionally, some early instar larvae may remain present after initial treatment, but these will die before they can moult into adults. It also discourages female mosquitoes from laying eggs on the water surface and prevents mosquito pupae from attaching to the surface and emerging to adulthood.
