Diptera is a reusable fly trap consisting of a black cylindrical, 5-liter capacity container with a yellow lid featuring a transparent top. The lid is fitted with 6 black mesh cones around its circumference. The mesh cone features a special “ONE-WAY” design that ensures flies can get in, but can’t get out. Inside the trap is a specially designed yellow plastic sieve with a handle that will provide ease in removing the dead flies. The top edge of the sieve serves as the measured mark for filling the Trap with water.
Once the attractant has worn off, the Diptera Trap needs to be emptied and refilled with clean water and fresh sachets of Diptera Fly Bait Refill. This is usually done every 30-60 days depending on the fly pressure and environmental conditions.
THE BAIT:
Diptera Fly Bait is made up of fermented yeasts and additives approved for use in the food industry. No animal-source protein or insecticide is added therefore it is safe for humans, animals, and the environment.
