Instructions for assembly and use: After removing the Snake Guard Snake Trap from its packaging, unfold it and place it on a flat, clean and dry surface with the release paper strips facing up. Carefully peel back the release paper, exposing the specially formulated glue. (Caution- this glue is very sticky. Avoid any contact, particularly with clothing and hair.
HOW THE V- TRAP WORKS:
1. Peel off the protective cover of the glue board catch insert. and place inside the V-trap.
2. Use the peg and safety seal to secure the V-TRAP on the ground where the snakes have been sighted or might be hiding. The V-TRAP is a perfect place for the snake to hide so the snake crawls in. and gets entangled in the catch insert which is equipped with a specially formulated glue.
3. The sticky glue immobilizes the snake , allowing for live capture, safe removal and live release at a remote location.
4. To release the snake, simply pour liberal amounts of vegetable oil on the snake and on the glue around the snake. The oil neutralizes the glue.
5. After releasing the snake, wash off the V-TRAP , remove any residual adhesive and place another catch insert in the trap. Replacement catch inserts are purchased separately.
